Reporting a problem

Tell us what you expected, what happened, your browser/device, and the currencies and date if rates failed. Use a small made-up example to explain a calculation issue. Please do not send bank/card details, passwords, sensitive documents, complete trip data or a private share link.

Quick checks

• Amounts do not add up: payer contributions must equal the expense amount exactly.
• Someone owes the wrong share: check the included people and relative weights for each expense.
• No exchange rate: check supported currencies, expense date and connection. The provider may be temporarily unavailable.
• Trip disappeared: inputs are cleared when you leave or refresh the tab. We cannot recover them.
• Balances changed: select See the split again after changing inputs.
